Remedial & learning barrier therapy for children aged 3 to 18 years old. Dyslexia, dysgraphia, delayed reflex integration, phonemic awareness (reading barriers), play therapy, counselling, ADD, ADHD, sensory processing sensitivity, plus much more.
Evidence-based scientific research has shown that using the O-G approach with individuals with language challenges will restructure their brains to help with to learn to read and spell. It will help students to encode (spell) words and break down words to their syllables and phonemes to determine the matching graphemes to be able to spell. Students will learn the rules of how words work – answers the what and why questions! Orton-Gilllingham is an approach and we provide the program. We work with teaching awareness for Phoneme segmentation, phoneme deletion, phoneme matching, phoneme counting, substitution and blending. Our program works according to the students pace, understanding and mastering of each section.
